1. This type of robot casting unit was originated in Beya, a China manufacturer and supplier of die casting equipment. It comprises rotary platform, 6-8 gravity die casting (GDC) machines, integrated control system, and industrial robot casting cell etc.
2. Aluminum castings can be automatically formed using this equipment. All GDC machines are evenly installed on the rotary platform, and driven by the driven disc in the center. It requires 3 separate working procedures, namely, products obtaining, core setting, mold closing, and casting, among which casting work is done by robot, the rest two are done by man.
3. Only 2 operators are required to handle 6-8 GDC machines at a time
